“If you keep on thinking what you’re thinking, you’ll keep on doing what you’re doing! If you keep on doing what you’re doing you’ll keep on earning what you’re earning!” Gary Glenn
Meet Molly. She is a 5mo old St. Bermastiff (St. Bernard and English Mastiff). We got her just before Christmas, as an early family Christmas present. She is the most well behaved, mild mannered dog ever! She’s a big cuddly baby, and we are absolutely in love with her. I keep telling the lady that we got her from that she must have faults, but we can’t find them.
That got me thinking that it must be nice for someone to say that they can’t find your faults. Sure, we all have them, but wouldn’t it be nice if you could ‘fake it til you make it’ about getting over them, or overcoming them. My biggest fault is self sabotage. I am so good at not setting goals because I feel like I am just making another commitment that is definitely not going to be met. I don’t know why I don’t just MAKE things happen. Why don’t I make more money? Why don’t I just take the time and work out for weight loss? Why don’t I make healthier meals? Why do I sit back and wait and HOPE that things will fall into my lap, or just happen because I want them to so badly? My life until now has been lived in this mode: AFTER blah, blah, blah happens, THEN I will do this to make my life better. I am done with ‘future’ mode. If you never bring your life into the present and stop living for the future, you will never accomplish anything. You can’t always count on tomorrow, so make your life count today. Lose weight if you need to, eat healthier if you need to, make time for your children/family, take steps to build your bank account. Stop being a victim of circumstance. I have set goals for myself. I am taking steps to finally SUCCEED! What are your faults and what do you need to overcome to make your life better? Your life is only as good as you make it!
