I was watching a news show the other day and they had WWE wrestler/author Chris Jericho on for an interview. One of the statements he made towards the end was, “The only people that tell you that you can’t are people that have failed”. He was referring to his dreams of being a wrestler and also being a rock star. He was discussing being on top in the WWE and struggling in his band. He had achieved one dream, but didn’t give up on the other.
I have always wanted to be a wife and a mother. In high school, I always was the good girl. I always did what I was suppost to and got good grades. I was expected to go to college, it’s just what ‘girls like me’ did. I was never a partier and my hubby and I laugh about me being a ‘goody two shoes’. However, against the wishes of everyone I knew, we got engaged the summer that we were to be seniors in high school, got married the January after we graduated and had a baby the following March. I set out to be a wife and have babies, and that is exactly what I did. After I was done having kids, I knew that I had to have something more. Some other way to better myself.
I always (we always) assumed that I would go back to school when my kids got older. My hubby’s job is very unpredictable, so that would provide us a steady income. I have always wanted to be a RN in the obstetrics unit of a hospital, possibly be a midwife. I started to make plans to go back when my littest one was born, so that I would be ready to work when she started school. Whenever it was mentioned, however, my hubby always had something to say about it. Finally, I just said, “Do you just not want me to go back?” He admitted that he didn’t. He didn’t want me gone all the time, weekends, holidays, etc. I didn’t really want to be either, so then what? I started searching home businesses and found the one I am currently involved in. You can get more info about it here. The products are the best and the people involved really want you to succeed. However, YOU have to want to succeed. YOU have to commit to being successful, whatever that is for you. This business has changed the way that my hubby and I look at ourselves and our potential…me especially. This quote (that I mentioned at the beginning) really hit home for us….my hubby looked up from the computer when he said that and said, “wow, that’s good”. Yep, it is……..
There will always be people that tell you that you can’t, no matter what you are doing. Look past them because no one that is successful, in whatever their passion is, will tell you that something is impossible. I am looking for a individuals that want to add more to their income and that share in that belief that ANYTHING is possible if you want it bad enough and are willing to work for it. Contact me if you are interested in finding out more about my awesome opportunity! Have a blessed day :o)
